A Puppy’s First Night Home: Raya’s Diary

Dear diary,
Something weird happened today. My hooman came home with two other hoomans I had never seen before.
They played with me a bit and I reaaalllyy liked how they smelled! I couldn’t stop myself from liking them and being all over them.
They must have liked me too, because at the end of our playdate… they took me with them!!
I was kind of nervous on the car ride, so the hooman man sat in the back seat with me while the hooman woman made the car go.
We stopped at this MAGICAL place filled with toys for days! and food! and lots and lots of things made for people just like me!
I had so much fun smelling everything and watching the cart get full of stuff these hoomans had me check first to make sure that I liked it 🙂
Afterwards, these new hoomans took me to a place I had never seen before. It had these weird looking things on the outside that looked like an accordion that went on forever.
They said these were called “stairs” and wanted me to walk on them. Naaturally, I wasn’t having it, so the hooman man carried me up.
After we were done with the “stairs” as they called it, we went into this place where they brought all the stuff from that magical place.
Of course, I immediately started my recognizance mission!
I smelled and explored every single spot in the entire place. I liked it! Especially this chair that went backwards. The whole thing was amazing!
The new hoomans fed me the food they got from my last person and played with me a bit. Then, it was time to sleep.
They wanted me to sleep in the jail-like thingy next to their bed. At first I didn’t want to go in because my last person made me spend a looong time in that kind of thing.
But these hoomans seemed nice. They also put blankets in there that looked really cozy.
So finally, I went in.
I was such a big girl! I didn’t cry the whole night until about 6 am the next day because I reaaly had to go potty.
Overall, I think my first night with these new hoomans went really well. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the days have in store for us!
